Erica is a motivated and energetic Director of Facilities and Plant Operations at The Michener Institute of Education at UHN with combined 15+ years of experience in facilities planning, redevelopment, operations, and project management. She has been an SLCan member since 2014. Prior to becoming a project manager specializing in research facilities and healthcare, Erica spent the earlier part of her career as a laboratory technologist in several disciplines including GLP, GMP, BSL2+ and BSL3 environments. Her passion is to apply her experiences and knowledge to develop and operate sustainable spaces for research, healthcare, and education. At her leisure, Erica is an active and avid event planner/organizer. She is also an animal lover and enjoys spending time with her beloved Maltese.
