Jason is a Registered Architect and Professional Mechanical Engineer who combines his interdisciplinary background into analytical and data driven sustainable design. As the Building Performance Lead at HDR, he embeds an integrated design approach by incorporating engineering and sustainability into the design process. He has over 16 years of project experience including institutional, commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential buildings as well as community and campus decarbonization including Life Cycle Assessments for embodied carbon and parametric energy modeling for operational emissions. Jason is an Adjunct Professor the University of British Columbia School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture where he teaches sustainable design and architectural technology.
