Steven is the Laboratory and Science Planning Leader in the Toronto Studio of the integrated Architecture and Engineering Firm DIALOG. With over 25 years’ experience in management and professional consulting in Canada, Steven has developed a significant portfolio of work in post secondary education and in the sectors of science + technology and healthcare that includes major pharmaceutical, biotechnology, investigative R+D laboratory projects, containment facilities, vivarium, law enforcement, forensics & training facilities, healthcare, long term care and public sector research projects.

Steven’s hands-on leadership approach and collaborative team process has fostered a comprehensive management style among clients, consultant teams and a diversity of stakeholders. Background experience includes design requirements around good lab practice (cGLP), good manufacturing practice (cGMP) and compliance standards relating to CSA, CCAC (vivarium design), CFIA, OBC, ‘SEFA’, Health Canada Biosafety Guidelines for containment, Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) and materials storage (NFPA) facilities.
