Dear Colleagues,
Sustainable Labs Canada is a volunteer organization of Canadians interested in ensuring that we have sustainable labs in our communities. Our group includes members from the public and private sectors with representation from: academic, hospital and national labs; facility representatives; sustainability experts; design teams; and product specialists. We are interesting in collaborating and sharing knowledge and expertise on everything from new technologies to planning principles to operational solutions that will make our laboratories some of the most sustainable environments possible. We are tackling topics such as: air management; design principles; use of hazardous materials; funding challenges; environmental impact; and the use of green technologies just to cover a few of the topics of discussion.
We want to use as many different vehicles of communication as possible including our website, blog, webinars, local presentations and larger regional and national conferences. Of course we can only do this with the support of members and sponsors.
If you haven’t already committed your support, we invite you to participate in this initiative and to encourage any of your colleagues in the laboratory community who may also be interested and willing to join Sustainable Labs Canada (SLCan). The 2022 membership forms are now available here.
The SLCan webinars are free for members only. To register, log in and go to the webinar section under the Members Only menu. Non-members can attend for a fee. Download the 2022 SLCan Webinar Registration Form for non-member registration.
The 2022 Sustainable Laboratory Conference is confirmed for October 24-26, 2022 in Vancouver, BC. Registration is open. The Call for Abstracts is available and the submission deadline is April 27.
Exhibit and sponsorship opportunities are available to expand your corporate visibility. Confirm early to maximize your exposure.
THANK YOU TO OUR CONFIRMED SPONSORS AND EXHIBITORS!
