The workshop was structured to provide opportunities for discussion and learning about many of the technical, operational and long-term sustainability challenges associated with the management and design of laboratories. The Workshop brought together and facilitate networking opportunities between the Workshop partners, government representatives, academic researchers and private sector firms to share new approaches, techniques and advancements in laboratory design to help address some of these challenges.
